Under pressure to help with family finances I was always on the lookout for commercial opportunities and in conjunction with a friend produced some prototypes for possible garden ornaments.

Panels based on Egyptian and Chinese themes and decorative edgings were offered, and I proposed a water nymph as an alternative to the traditional gnome fishing in a garden pool.
